KRIS FULK
PHOTOGRAPHER
Born Maria Kris Malinao Pueyo, Kris Fulk spent the first 8 years of her life in a small village in the Philippines. At 10 years old, she bravely flew 36 hours with her younger brother to NYC.
An eccelctic assortment of influences lend themselves to her style. During high school, she studied at the prestigious Townsend Harris in Flushing, NY. Then came the tumultuous semester in FIT where, studying to become a fashion desginer at one of the most elite design colleges in the US, she watched the World Trade Center fall in the distance. She consequently dropped out of college to pursue an enlistment in the US Navy as an electrician for F/A 18 jets.
She met, fell in love and then married another sailor in a whirlwind romance before finding herself once again immersed in art after her enlistment ended. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary's College of Southern Maryland, an honors college, with an extensive knowledge of photography and art history.
In her heart, however, she will always be that same dreamy, romantic girl who marveled at the clouds outside her first air plane ride.
Kris is located in Pearland, right outside Houston, TX, and is available for travel throughout the United States.
